Why am I doing this? Well that’s a question that may remain unanswered.
I love taking photos. That you will soon see. I don’t have a big fancy camera – just a simple point and shoot, but even with a simple camera, if you take the time to look for the details and the right moments – well you can capture real treasures.
This little tree frog hopped into my front flower garden one night and it was as if he was posing on the top of Zoe’s Zinnia. (more on Zoe later). He was no more then an inch long, nose to tail, as the flower barely measures 2 inches across! The amazing thing is is that he didn’t even flinch when the camera flashed!
My goal is to flood this blog with pictures, scrapbook pages, and photos of projects that I’ve completed, and give you a glimpse into my world. Pictures that bring me joy and a smile to my face. Things like flowers, my kids, our pets, places we go and activities we do to pass the time, and and the simple but crazy daily life of a mom of 4. Most of the photos I’m certain will be of my children, Ty (14), Aryn (10), Ethan (9) and Zoe (7).
Check out the about page to learn more about me. The More Days Like This title comes from a scrapbook page that someone else created and I happened to see in Creating Keepsakes magazine. So a big thank you goes out to Sarah Joseph! Thanks for inspiring the title of this blog and for sharing the adorable layout of your children! I don’t know if the layout is posted on the Creating Keepsakes website or not but if you are a subscriber check out Sarah’s layout on page 98 of the July 2008 issue! It’s a keeper!
This is it for now tho.
Blessings,
Garsy
