And finally we have May.
Fine Arts day! I didn’t get to see or do much as I was teaching a class this year but I did get to enjoy a performance by a local baton twirling team and a great mini-concert by Elephants in Mud. Jared the lead singer, (the one in the hat) is the boyfriend of our art teacher Sachi!
The kids earned free tickets to a local baseball game featuring the Fort Wayne Tincaps!
A bit of time at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo on Ethan’s birthday!
Speaking of birthday! Ethan turned 11 on May 16th! WOW! It’s off to middle school next year!
Zoe’s Girl Scout Bridging ceremony! She is now a Junior Girl Scout!
The 5th graders staged a GREAT performance of The Jungle Book! The best part tho was that in attendance was a much beloved former teacher Mrs. C! Ethan was ecstatic!
And a couple of last photos of the month. The first is the first blossom on my peony bush! It’s taken 5 years but I finally got this thing to blossom!! And then Zoe getting on the school bus. For some reason, unlike the rest of my kids, Zoe enjoys riding the bus!
That’s my May.
Take care!
What a cool little photo journey this was, Garsy! Looks like the kiddos are healthy and happy and that you all had lots of fun activities last month. Happy belated birthday to Ethan!
Thank you for stopping by my site! It always makes my day to know that people are reading what I write. I definitely recommend picking up anything by Patricia Polacco – she is a talented woman.
You have a beautiful family!
That last picture tugs at my hear. Beautiful.
Hey Garsy! I was so happy to see a comment from you on my blog today! Hope you are doing well and that you and your family has been having a wonderful summer. Have the kiddos started back up in school again?
